About Me

With over 10 years of experience as a system and network administrator, I've added to my expertise by spending the last 3+ years as a VoIP engineer.

I bring a unique combination of skills to the table! My knowledge of SIP is top-notch and I've had the opportunity to work with open-source VoIP applications like Asterisk PBX, where I've created custom dial-plans and AGI scripts. Scaling complex VoIP networks is no problem for me, and I've got a strong handle on Linux that makes troubleshooting a breeze. I also have a knack for working with instrumentation, metrics, and observability.

Collaborating with developers, site reliability engineers, and operational teams is something I enjoy and helps ensure a seamless product. My bash scripting skills are on point and I'm familiar with IP networking, routing, VPNs, and RDBMS. I always strive to identify and resolve problems and I'm passionate about improving overall product quality and leading my team to do the same. I have experience with PRTG monitoring software and have set up automatic failover situations using custom bash scripts.
